About Us

Skywater Rainwater Collection Systems is a rainwater harvesting system design and distribution company based in Prescott, Arizona. Located in a region prone to drought, Skywater has hands-on experience with stormwater management, water conservation and rainwater harvesting.

In addition to rainwater tanks and parts, we offer complete design and planning services. We have a comprehensive background in rainwater harvesting, green building, landscape architecture and permaculture, and design systems to generate habitat and integrate with irrigation.

Skywater Arizona founder and owner is a landscape architect, certified Permaculture designer and certified Rainwater Collection Systems Professional with more than 25 years of experience in the field. He approaches planning as a systems-based process that values place, people, and purpose, and designs projects for homeowners, commerical and public clients. Since founding the company in 2005, Barnabas has pursued ways to integrate rainwater harvesting into the built environment to benefit both the human and nonhuman world. Dustin Wright joined Skywater and TBK in 2012. Passionate about planning that values ecology and culture, he is an
efficient designer whose acumen extends across planning, low-impact development, and alternative construction. Dustin is a certified Permaculture Designer and has recently completed a master's degree in landscape architecture with a focus in holistic stormwater management. As designer and draftsman, Dustin is often involved in project factfinding, planning, drafting and 3D rendering, and on-site construction administration.
Adrian Adams's  rainwater harvesting experience and expertise easily make him one of the most proficient rainwater technicians in the Southwest. A certified Permaculture Designer and founder of High Country Permaculture, Adrian is experienced in rainwater harvesting system design and implementation, as well as education. In addition to a multitude of projects around the region, he designed and built his own urban homestead, where he grows his own food and  continues to implement principles of permaculture. His property is a living laboratory for his work as a Prescott College instructor, and students and clients alike visit the homestead to learn how to change the world through ecological design.

Michele Van Haecke is a graphic designer and former journalist who has guided our public relations and marketing since 2006. A longtime contributor to McGraw-Hill and Dodge construction publications, she is versed in all phases of planning , design , and construction. Michele is affiliated with the Society of
Professional Journalists and the US Green Building Council, where she has served on Social Media, PR, and Greenbuild committees.
